Named after Canadian strongman/grip athlete/climber Tremayne Desmarteaux (aka Big Tree Brown) as recognition for his community involvement in the Montreal region and efforts to connect athletes together from different sports. This Big Tree Rocket combines 2 of Trey's favourite grip styles (vertical and thick bar) in spinning nemesis synergy.
The roller is your typical rolling handle roller (5" in length) that has been mounted vertically on a bearing so that it spins freely from the base. Thumb stays off of the roller and goes on the plate, creating a need to squeeze hard and not just rely on friction.
By default, the finish on the roller is kept to raw steel to support consistency in competitions and also to allow for natural seasoning. However, as always, we're more than happy to accommodate any particular finishes to support your artistic and training desires.
