Calling all ladies!
We are so excited to invite you to join us in the 3rd Feather Crush Women Only grip competition, First Blush 2024 happening on March 9th, 2024!
Whether you're a returning competitor, or first timer, your grip strength deserves some spotlight! It's a very positive environment for all, where your contribution starts the moment you decide to come out and compete, because regardless of your performance, your ultimate result will be that you'll help grow the sport, support the community and empower women.
A portion of proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Canada and Arthritis Society Canada to further push the boundaries of women and hand health.
Feather Crush was born out of the necessity to address gender inequalities in grip sport. After last year's Canadian Nationals, where there was a record 5 women turn-out, we blew that out of the water by hosting the first ever Feather Crush in summer 2023 with 15 women! Although this was a huge win for women, there is still much work to be done.

Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class.
Door prizes for all competitors!
Results of individual events, depending on sanctioning bodies, will be recorded within the Grip Sport International (GSI) database, Canada Grip Sport Rankings, and/or nemesisgrips.ca.

As per usual, it's potluck style. So, bring something shareable! Enjoy the music, the mingling, the networking. Bring your girlfriends! It's going to be a blast!
