Another addition to the madness series (see Triangle of Madness) that employs swiveling paddles!
This one is named after our local madman Patrick Landriault. His specialty is balance, stability and mental focus. He loves tricky implements that require more than just brute strength.
This hub has 2 symmetrical paddles that swivel independently and smoothly (through the use of bearings). It's challenging because you need to find the right amount of opposition between the thumb side and the finger side. Too much one-sided pressure from either the index or pinky side of the fingers, or an uncentered thumb, will send the hub spinning out of your hand.
Paddles are approximately 3" x 1" x 1", and sit 3" apart. By default, the paddles are kept to raw steel to support consistency in competitions and also to allow for natural seasoning.
