These hubs are tapered to provide additional challenge compared to traditional cylindrical hubs. Because of the angle of the top edge, there is less reliance on skin friction, creating more reliance on finger strength.
These UFHs come in 2 sizes: 3" diameter x 3/4" height and 4" diameter x 1" height. Both sizes feel unique in their own way, and both work well with all hand sizes.
The grip surface is kept to raw steel by default in order to maintain consistency in competition and to allow for natural seasoning.
