This Ebel Thumber is what you get when you combine a hub style pinch with a rolling thumber! Instead of a roller and a flat back plate, a 3" sphere is joined with a corresponding round back plate to mimic the hub finger positioning.
This is named after Zach Ebel, as recognition for his contribution towards the sport of grip. Zach is always recruiting new athletes, providing mentorship and volunteering to help out with events. Zach's hub and thumb strength are world class too, but he's very humbled about it! So, this Ebel Thumber perfectly embodies his spirit and energy.
By default, the finish on the sphere is kept to raw steel to support consistency in competitions and also to allow for natural seasoning.
